Hillary Clinton 2008 Supporters Speak Out Against Obama

By Rev. Lainie Dowell

DO NOT TAKE THIS REPORT LIGHTLY!

I came upon this fantastic information via a link shared on Twitter, and I'm glad I clicked on it.

In 2008, the American people refused to pay attention to the many warnings being sounded about Barack Obama and the Chicago thugs. Now, the Democrat supporters of Hillary Clinton (presently Secretary of State in the Obama Administration) are speaking out from first-hand accounts about that political process which tossed Hillary Clinton and elevated Obama.

Following that televised nominating process which broke the hearts of many of her supporters, the people made the decision that, "We Will Not Be Silenced." They have fought to keep that promise, and everybody needs to view the message they have tried to get out nationally since 2008, but to no avail. However, in 2010, Hillary Clinton supporters are finally able to provide substantial evidence of widespread fraud and intimidation perpetrated by Obama and many of his supporters during the 2008 election.

Their video entitled "We Will Not Be Silenced" (or, "How the Mob Stole A Nomination") is directed by Gigi Gaston. It is a breathtaking account and I am sure it will grip your heart, as it did mine. The first presentation of this video was a 4-part series on the same site. (If the links do not show up here, please google)

Included is the song, "Betchya Gotta Cure." Music and lyrics by Sophie B. Hawkins.

That video site (above) also directs viewers to another site where there is a new extended version online. This video was previewed on FOX TV, on July 11, 2010, during an interview of Gigi Gaston, video director.

Voice Ink News Commentary Founder-Editor Weighed In

On Wednesday, July 23, 2008, I wrote a commentary entitled, "Get Those People Out of Here Quick!"

This article told how Hillary Clinton had sold out her supporters by having a secret meeting with Obama (later discovered to have been held at Rep. Diane Feinstein's house) where she made a deal with Obama for compensation of some sort, if she got out of the race and turned her supporters over to him. And, subsequently, that is exactly what we saw her do even though she had as much of a chance of winning that 2008 nomination as Obama did at the time. And her supporters knew it!

On Wednesday, August 27, 2008, I wrote a commentary entitled "Election 2008 Change That Thrives On Hope. "

I had prophetically sounded the alarm about that Democrat nominating process. Even though I am a Republican by political affiliation and I supported the McCain-Palin candidacy, my heart broke for those Clinton supporters. During their 2008 nominating process, viewers saw how devastated Hillary's supporters were when she publicly announced she was getting out of that race and had asked them to turn their allegiance over to Obama. Many of her supporters expressed their anger at the time and chose to turn away from Obama's candidacy.

On Wednesday, August 27, 2008, I also wrote a commentary entitled "Obama Coronation By DEMS." Here, I expressed the heartache I felt because Obama and his thugs had betrayed not only Hillary Clinton but also the entire voting process for all Americans.

Even now, in 2010, I believe anybody who watches that timely video and who loves America will be heart broken. At the same time they will also feel vindicated, because they knew they were not wrong about Barack Hussein Obama and his faction of the Democratic Party who had deliberately stolen the 2008 nomination from Hillary Clinton. Not only that, but they also began their call once more to eliminate the Electoral College. Even now they are still working toward that end. But they must not be allowed to succeed there, either.

What more proof does anybody need about Obama?!

We must work harder to ensure that Barack Hussein Obama will never have another chance to corrupt any other election process to aid him in his attempt to circumvent the United States Constitution, do away with our representative form of government, and install himself as U.S. President in Perpetuity.

Many bloggers who continue to expose Obama are mocked, scoffed at, and even ignored. Our voting process is broken and, through his illegal manipulation of the process, Obama proves he is not now, never was, and never will be the person who should be entrusted with the Office of President of the United States. Moreover, we have a constitutional crisis right now and citizens must compel Congress to hold an investigative hearing towards impeaching Obama well before the 2012 Presidential election.

Hardly anybody heard the warnings being sounded about Obama at the time, because the mainstream media was sold out to him and he could do no wrong. Many still refuse to hear and believe the allegations against Obama even now. Instead, they prefer to believe that Obama is truthful, patriotic, and competent rather than a traitor who wants to establish his own parliamentarian coalition government inside of the White House.

He has never stopped campaigning and has never disbanded his personal lobbyist arm known as "Organizing For America" (formerly known as "Obama For America"). Obama and his wife, Michelle, and Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, along with the staff who works with and for Obama continue to send out campaign-style emails begging for donations and bragging about how they have gotten over Congress. And the Executive Branch also leaves no doubt as to where they stand, because they personally allow their signatures to be used with those emails. That action is unconstitutional and illegal and needs to be addressed and halted! Nevertheless, we have seen many of our laws broken by Obama without accountability. And I believe it is because our officials do not want to be labelled as racist for weighing in. Outrageous!

All American voters beyond political or religious affiliation, race, or gender need to make the time to review this information via the links I have provided in this article. There is another election coming up on November 2, 2010; therefore, this news item should be helpful in leading every reader into not becoming complacent or apathetic about the all-important American voting process.

VOTE IN 2010 LIKE IT IS 2012! Pass it on!

Spilling Ink - Minding Obama's Business

By Rev. Lainie Dowell

My response to a comment left in re subject article.

1) "God is not the author of confusion... sun go down on your wrath" Were you referencing the recent anger and confusion at the McCain/Palin rallies?
2)Haven't both senators neglected their current duties to run for the presidency?
3)Which president was elected without "Millions of people and organizations" behind him? The trick to democracy is to have more "millions" than your opponent.
4)"The bottom up" is not an Obama original. I think it can be translated "We the people..."
5)"community organizers... and people taking to the streets..." are perfect examples of democracy at it's best. The alternatives are what? Dictatorship? Oligarchy? America was founded by community organizers and people taking to the streets. What exactly are you saying here? That instead of being ruled by the "millions", America should be ruled by a select few? I think your elitism is showing in your arguments, whether intended or not.

VOICE INK RESPONSE

I appreciate your comments and the opportunity to dialogue. Calling a matter by a term that may sound ominous such as "elitist" does not make it so. As with the law, when rightly applied, the outcome has to line up with the facts and the law to get to the truth. Obama's problem is his utter refusal to tell the truth and he knows there is so much evidence on hand to substantiate that. He has a deep-seated problem with truth. He has a character problem. And it would behoove the American people who see it to block and stop his bid for the Presidency.

And, that has nothing to do with race, as his campaign makes it to get the sympathy vote as a supposed victim
of racism.

The current "anger and confusion" you cited is not the same way I see it. It is borne out of frustration that people are feeling, because they are not understanding why Obama is being allowed to do and say everything that is anathema to what this nation stands for and the news media has not called him on it. And, now, they feel that McCain has been pressured by the Obama campaign turning every "No" into a racial hit rather than a matter pertaining to issues.

Obama, for months, has falsely lambasted the Republican Party from the President on down the line to McCain, with impunity. But nobody has called Obama on it. And yet he complains and whines about every attempt of Americans to get him to respond to the disparate remarks he has written and stated about himself. If he wants to be in a high-profile position, he needs to expect he will be placed under the microscope.

The difference in the current election environment introduced by the candidacy of Clinton (1992), Gore (2000), Kerry (2004), and Obama (2008) is how the anger emanated from their campaigns towards their Republican colleagues in an attempt to deflect the nation's attention from the issues to the personal.

What should concern Americans most is how this scenario is running true to form with the Democratic plans/agenda established as far back as the 1970s, which is documented through newspaper interviews that can be read within context of the times and without spin or bias, as is prevalent in many news reports today. There is a difference between fomenting anger in your target and then blaming your target for responding in kind -- and then having the fomenter acting as if they didn't know what or why?

Americans are being deceived by the Obama campaign and the DEMS, in particular. If Obama's change is for the benefit of all Americans, then well and good. However, Obama's purpose is self-centered on his behalf and that of the Democrat Party alone, and he should make that clear to the entire nation that is his purpose, but he is not doing that.

Americans deserve to know they are all working towards the entire overhaul of the constitution by consensus rather than by legitimate means laid out in the founding and amended document. What they are doing is operating under the surface to overthrow the government. That is a criminal offense (Federal) and they know it and that is why they talk fast and loose with the truth, when questioned.

The Office of President has to have someone who is trustworthy and can be trusted with top-level state secrets and plans to protect the nation and preserve it whole, if not better -- but never worse. The best decisions are made when all the facts are laid on the table and in context rather than eked out by bits and pieces and, then, scattered in all directions.

American people reject dictatorships and understand we must remain vigilant against having it occur in this nation.

Puttin, Chavaz, Castro brothers, and Raila Odinga are a few examples of how quickly unscrupulous elected leaders can snatch freedom from a free people -- and there is too much documentation to confirm that Obama is a traitor and a propagandist who is trying to operate under the radar of detection. Too late! He's caught! Please research his record and the past that he refuses to reveal. We have.

Again, I welcome your thoughts and am grateful you took the time to write. Feel free! I am, because God is.

Pit Bull Power 2008

SPILLING INK!
By Rev. Lainie Dowell

Pit Bull women understand what most men don't seem to, which is that unless America has a trustworthy and honest leader to sit in the Oval Office, then none of the rest of any of these issues about the war and budget will matter a hill of beans because Obama, if elected, will be free to change this nation in ways we would not recognize, with impunity and without accountability. Every opponent will continue to be challenged as being either a racist or someone who is smearing him.

But, if the news media had done their homework early on to research and find out who Obama is and what he stands for, then Obama would not have gotten this far on the 2008 Presidential Election trail, based on his record and lack of experience. What's more, it's not just that he can't be depended on to tell the truth if his life depended on it, but the maddening part is knowing that Obama absolutely does not have to lie - except and unless he did not tell the truth in the first place.

We women understand how it must be hard for Obama to try to keep his stories straight. And, if Michelle wasn't in on the deception, we could almost feel sorry for her and her children. Its just got to be downright embarrassing knowing that you live with a man who has neither a conscious nor a heart. "Empty Suit" is his designation, all right.

Instead of speaking to the point for the past several years that he has been campaigning, Obama has chosen to change the subject every time and to transfer the exposed problem to the one(s) who had exposed the fallacies of his own statements.

Nobody who has lived as a citizen of America wants anybody to get into the White House with authority to place their hands on the key that lets loose the nuclear bomb and also to have access to all the files that contain national secrets when they have been proven to be deceitful and deceptive.

Why won't this government release any information about Obama? Why doesn't the security of this nation matter to the people in charge of security? How in the (world) can this government turn Obama loose - with all we have come to know about him and more which would even disqualify him from sitting in the U.S. Senate?

Why have American citizens been betrayed by our government for this man who is a traitor who has gone in secret and made all kinds of deals with Kenya, Indonesia, Pakistan, Iraq, and who knows where else???

The record shows there is a crucial need for McCain to lay Obama on the mat tonight with the facts and documentation that support them. We have listened to too many of his deceptions and those of his spokespersons. And, to make matters worse, many of the news pundits equate McCain and Obama as being the same in political character and experience despite having evidence to the contrary. McCain is a patriot. Obama is a patronizer.

Well, if the thought of having Obama in the White House is not enough to make your hair curl, just think about this! Obama is the culmination of all that the Black Panthers and the Nation of Islam have longed for all of these many years, which is to give them a straight course to making a Black state within the United States of America.

Obama is living out the Black Panther's wildest dreams. They could keep quiet for now, because they know they could blow it, if Americans knew who and what was really behind Obama's candidacy. And, like the Islamists, they could make friends with enemies long enough to get them off guard and then come in for the kill when they least expected it. With a mind like Obama's nobody is safe. Don't forget his bus is still waiting at the curb, and he won't hesitate to throw you under it, if you get in his way. Heck! He'd even go out of his way to run you down.

Bobby Seale, an ex-Panther, has been quoted as saying,

"One of the characteristics of the Black Panther Party was coalition politics, and people forget that our slogan was, 'All power to all the people.' "*

*source: "When the Fist Was Raised; MICA Exhibit Recalls 1960s Heyday of the Black Panther Party," by Joe Burns. The Sun, Baltimore, MD., Nov. 4,, 2007, p. E.3.

The democrats were clever in how they kept quiet about the lifestyle of Bill Clinton, which helped him to get into the White House in the 1990s. They knew it could never have happened if Hillary had 'fessed up that she knew Bill had a bimbo problem. The only thing was, the "bimbos" weren't so dumb after all. They were later proved to be telling the truth.

Tonight, McCain has to definitely take a leaf from Palin's book and take it to Obama and all of his spokespeople and the DEMs who uphold Obama in his deception rather than to instruct him on the ethics and honor of being an American President for all the people instead of breaking this nation up into coalitions and a projected socialist, parliamentarian, Islamic nation, with reparations for black people on the table.

Oh yes, McCain's got the pit bulls behind him tonight and we're praying his strength and our strength to get the job done!

Death - The Intimate Stranger and the McCain Campaign

By Rev. Lainie Dowell

Reprint: New Media Journal

Let's talk about the 2008 Republican Presidential nominee, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) and the manufactured issue of the day, which seems to revolve around his age and health. I hate to break it to any of you, but death is a reality of life.

Sometimes death is welcomed but most times not. Even though mankind has no physical calender to denote the end of their days on earth, they understand that some time in this life, death is inevitable. Nevertheless, people walk around as though death is neither in their vocabulary nor is it an intimate part of their own living and breathing.

None of us will ever know anybody who has not died and who will not die, including us. And, unless the Lord calls time on the whole world at the same time, then everybody will die at sometime or another, as He has said.

We are all born dead on arrival, because of sin; but, in the Lord Jesus, we know that in this life on earth we have hope of a better quality of life now and in the life hereafter.

For some reason, newscasters, politicians, and political pundits seem to be mesmerized by Sen. McCain's age and health. During a second, recently televised interview between Katie Couric, CBS TV news anchor, and Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK), 2008 Vice Presidential running mate of Sen. McCain, we witnessed another demonstration of how arrogant and disrespectful many newscasters and pundits have become and how smug they are in the face of authority, in which Gov. Palin also stands.

News reporters and pundits seem to want politicians to be like them (i.e., Hollywood types) who are, themselves, full of hype and are dressed from head to toe with all their finery that money can buy, including press agents and promoters close by to conjure up for them popularity and notoriety. Nevertheless, they will also die! And most of them, no doubt, might be clothed in their finery, which will turn to dust just like them, including all that they had to leave behind.

Old chuch (sic) folk put it like this -- "You might dress yourself in the morning, but when the evening come (sic), you don't know who's gonna be undressing you" (i.e., Keep the undertaker's number handy).

Today, many news reporters seem to want to interview politicians who will enthral their TV and radio audiences with good looks, smooth talk, and a cool, calm, collected presence when they are in front of them and their cameras and microphones. Moreover, during too many of those interviews, those are the main characteristics reporters want to project as being the uppermost topic of discussion. And, in fact, those are the very topics which modern-day reporters are most interested in, while the critical life and death issues of the day which could be more than adequately addressed by their political guests, be dammed. It's a gotcha kind of reporting that Americans are assailed with these days. And, I am also inclined to agree with Frank Salvato, managing editor of New Media Journal, who opined in a recent editorial, "Now I know how Elvis felt when he shot his television."

Too many political reporters and satirists have become satanists. Their sour humor is intended to utterly destroy their targets to make them look small in the eyes of the viewers and listeners. And it is their own distorted view of their target which the population latches onto as fact and refuse to let go.

The question of the day has become, as Couric sneeringly put it to Gov. Palin, whether or not it is prudent for Palin to allude to Sen. Joe Biden's age, when she is running for office with a candidate (McCain), who is 72 years old?

Mankind can make all their plans in this world but God can and does rearrange them, as it pleases Him.

Palin was shown on TV trying to justify to Couric her telling a McCain-Palin 2008 campaign gathering that she has heard Biden speak since she was in the second grade. But, instead of justifying and apologizing, Palin needed to have reminded Couric that Biden is most definitely a peer of McCain, because they are very close in age. And, what's more, Biden has just as many health issues to be concerned about as does McCain. But, what's your point?! They even have to be concerned about the health and age of Sen. Barack Hussein Obama (D-IL), 2008 Democratic Presidential nominee. Except, he has managed to this late date in this campaign to suppress any personal health information about himself.

Although the media and political campaigns have given Obama a pass, the DEMS and pundits are eager to harp about McCain's old age and his ongoing fight to overcome melanoma, but they invariably also overlook Biden's old age and his own ongoing battle to control having another brain aneurysm or stroke.

I am not a physician but I do know that none of those health conditions or any others is ever truly within the total control of either of those candidates or anybody else, including human physicians.

Couric should have known better than most that we do the best we can with what we've got and we thank God and move on. Hasn't she personally witnessed that death is no respecter of age, health, person, location, or faith? So, neither she nor anybody else ought to try to use that issue as a matter of contention, because we witness every day that "you don't have to be young and well to live and you don't have to be old and sick to die." -Holy Ghost to Rev. Lainie Dowell

The young can die just as much as the old. And the sick can live just as well as the healthy. -Rev. Lainie Dowell.

Death is an intimate stranger. Mankind walks with his grave beside him every day, for "Dust thou art and dust thou shalt return," is what our God told the first man, Adam, when He put him out of the Garden of Eden, because of his sin of disobedience.

Personally, I can preach that with Scriptural references, Book, chapter and verse, but most Christians and nonchristians alike already know that. And, now is the time for all people to live the Word of God, if He is living inside of them as they profess rather than to use God's Word to condemn and excuse themselves and others. And, rather than to be seen as friends with one another until somebody strikes a truthful cord that doesn't sit well with them, it is time for all mankind all over this world to become the living sermon and demonstration of faith in this time of hopelessness and degradation.

One very essential part of all life is faith. Many of us, as Christian believers, realize that we cannot do anything without faith in the true and living God who has kept this nation as the beacon of hope that is greatly desired by others near and afar. They know that, in America, our faith is cemented in God's word, mercy, grace, truth, and His divine love, which is demonstrated through Jesus Christ's sacrifice for all mankind who believe.

Still, they reject the One "who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us," and try to silence us in every way they can, even with dark-of-night legislation, because they do not want to give our God the glory and honor due only to Him. Oh, but when the storms come, who is the One they call upon then? As it has been widely reported, "There are no atheists in foxholes." (-Anon)

Many Christian believers think they cannot know what is in a person's heart and that nobody can judge another, even as they, themselves, are making judgments about people, situations and circumstances. But, we have a measuring rod by which to judge, which is by God's Word, Spirit, and presence.

The gospel message that we preach is now mistaken by the church and the world populace to mean anything that anybody might choose to speak from out of their own mouths rather than to let it flow forth from out of the heart, spirit, and mouth of God to the ear of His own called, appointed, and anointed vessels. And, if they were right, then there would be no chaos and confusion in the world whatsoever to stumble people rather than to help lift them up as they strive to live a better, more useful life here on earth in the presence of God and all mankind.

"Let God be found true though every man be found to be a liar." -Holy Scripture

The world's religious and political leaders who foster Godly visions and principles within their nations, reap the blessings of God. If there is lack anywhere in the land, it is not that God has failed but that the leadership has failed to obey God.

Politicians whose aim is to foster invaluable hope and change throughout the governing process need to first look within themselves to examine whether they just might be promoting death and destruction instead. And, constituents need to discern and replace every one of those in leadership who is found to be untrustworthy of such an honorable undertaking.

Pray and make sure that your vote will count for life and for Godliness to rule once more in this nation both now and in the days to come, if the Lord tarries.

The Loop Hole Effect - McCain or Obama?

By Rev. Lainie Dowell

Reprint: New Media Journal

The Loop Hole Effect --
Whenever a leader has been rightly placed to lead, there is no need for them to have a loop hole inserted in their contract. - Rev. Lainie Dowell

During the first 2008 Presidential Debate with Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) and Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL), Obama said many things that made my eyebrows go up, but the one that has stuck with me is his announcement that he is working to bring about "Google for Government" to place all government dealings on the internet.

Should citizens and noncitizens far and wide be able to access every bit of essential government information without first identifying themselves?

McCain at Saddleback Church: The Push I Needed!

By Rev. Lainie Dowell

Saturday, August 15, 2008, 8-10 p.m. EST

Rev. Rick Warren, Pastor - Saddleback Church, Lake Forest, California.

Forum Hosted Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) and Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), separately, in what was termed, "A Civil Presidential Forum."

Sen. John McCain's responses left me with a giant push towards his candidacy that I had not felt since the beginning of the 2008 Presidential Campaign --- that is, until tonight. I had known that my election choices were not sterling among any of the Republican candidates, apart from Former Gov. Mike Huckabee. And, after he was disqualified, I was left with none of the others to vote for, and especially not Sen. John McCain.

That is, until tonight, after viewing McCain's participation in the forum. He was strong, straightforward, hopeful, and presented a vivid example of what it means to live by faith and works and without compromise.

As for Obama, he lost me near the outset, when he responded to Rev. Warren's question about when life begins. Obama said he couldn't speak to it from the viewpoint of theology or science and said, "that is above my pay grade." I wonder if he felt that way both times his wife told him she was pregnant with their daughters? I wonder if he gave any thought to their life when they saw their first sonogram? I wonder if he ever told his family and friends they had to wait until each of his children was born before he could pronounce that they were human? I doubt that.

And, for the rest of Obama's time that he spent responding tonight to Rev. Warren's questions, I felt that Obama was being very careful to give the assembled, presumably majority Christian audience only what he thought they wanted to hear in terms of his personal faith as (so he says) a Christian. And, in response to the question about evil, Obama quickly turned his response to say that America is evil.

Both Sen. McCain and Sen. Obama are well aware of their differences and have been for some time. It would appear that Obama has not learned from the Senior Statesman's instructive rebuke when Obama first came to the Senate. The letters are posted on Obama's U.S. Senate website and, for me, it painted a picture of a youthful person who had not yet come into his own but who wanted to take over. And he still does.

One example is how an Obama surrogate appeared on Fox News cable 54 tonight following the forum and tried to say that McCain made a mistake by saying "$5M" to him represented being "rich." But that is not what happened and, as McCain had stated earlier, that, indeed, was going to be used against him, when he had made it plain that he said it in jest and had immediately stated as such.

Another example is taken from Obama's U.S. Senate website to show how Obama's response during the Warren Forum about his working on a bipartisan ethics bill was disingenuous, and that dialogue follows for those who won't go look it up:

Sen. Obama and Sen. McCain Exchange Letters on Ethics Reform

Monday, February 6, 2006

February 2, 2006

The Honorable John McCain
United States Senate
241 Russell Senate Office Building
Washington, DC 20510

Dear John:

Thank you for inviting me to participate in the meeting yesterday to discuss lobbying and ethics reform proposals currently before the Senate. I appreciate your willingness to reach out to me and several other Senate Democrats to discuss what should be done to restore public confidence in the way that Congress conducts its business. The discussion clearly underscored the difficult challenge facing Congress.

You and many in the Democratic Caucus have played a major role in reform efforts in the Senate. In fact, the Indian Affairs Committee hearings you led were instrumental in promoting public awareness of the culture of corruption that has permeated the nation's capital.

As you know, Senator Harry Reid and others in the Democratic Caucus have taken an important step by introducing " S. 2180, the Honest Leadership Act, which imposes many of the same disclosure requirements for lobbyists that you have proposed, while also strengthening enforcement, eliminating "pay to play" schemes, and imposing more restrictive rules on meals, gifts, and travel that Members and their staff can receive from special interests that advocate before Congress. This bill, which now has the support of 40 members of the Democratic Caucus, represents a significant step in addressing many of the worst aspects of corruption that have come to light as a result of the Justice Department investigation of Jack Abramoff.

I know you have expressed an interest in creating a task force to further study and discuss these matters, but I and others in the Democratic Caucus believe the more effective and timely course is to allow the committees of jurisdiction to roll up their sleeves and get to work on writing ethics and lobbying reform legislation that a majority of the Senate can support.

Committee consideration of these matters through the normal course will ensure that these issues are discussed in a public forum and that those within Congress, as well as those on the outside, can express their views, ensuring a thorough review of this matter.

Given the state of affairs in Washington, we have a historic opportunity to make fundamental changes in the way our government operates so that the actions we take as public officials are responsive and transparent to the American people. Thank you again for your interest in this important matter.

Sincerely, Barack Obama
United States Senator

February 6, 2006

The Honorable Barack Obama
United States Senate
SH-713
Washington, DC 20510

Dear Senator Obama:

I would like to apologize to you for assuming that your private assurances to me regarding your desire to cooperate in our efforts to negotiate bipartisan lobbying reform legislation were sincere. When you approached me and insisted that despite your leadership's preference to use the issue to gain a political advantage in the 2006 elections, you were personally committed to achieving a result that would reflect credit on the entire Senate and offer the country a better example of political leadership, I concluded your professed concern for the institution and the public interest was genuine and admirable.

Thank you for disabusing me of such notions with your letter to me dated February 2, 2006, which explained your decision to withdraw from our bipartisan discussions. I'm embarrassed to admit that after all these years in politics I failed to interpret your previous assurances as typical rhetorical gloss routinely used in politics to make self-interested partisan posturing appear more noble. Again, sorry for the confusion, but please be assured I won't make the same mistake again.

As you know, the Majority Leader has asked Chairman Collins to hold hearings and mark up a bill for floor consideration in early March. I fully support such timely action and I am confident that, together with Senator Lieberman, the Committee on Governmental Affairs will report out a meaningful, bipartisan bill.

You commented in your letter about my "interest in creating a task force to further study" this issue, as if to suggest I support delaying the consideration of much-needed reforms rather than allowing the committees of jurisdiction to hold hearings on the matter. Nothing could be further from the truth. The timely findings of a bipartisan working group could be very helpful to the committee in formulating legislation that will be reported to the full Senate.

Since you are new to the Senate, you may not be aware of the fact that I have always supported fully the regular committee and legislative process in the Senate, and routinely urge Committee Chairmen to hold hearings on important issues. In fact, I urged Senator Collins to schedule a hearing upon the Senate's return in January.

Furthermore, I have consistently maintained that any lobbying reform proposal be bipartisan. The bill Senators Joe Lieberman and Bill Nelson and I have introduced is evidence of that commitment as is my insistence that members of both parties be included in meetings to develop the legislation that will ultimately be considered on the Senate floor.

As I explained in a recent letter to Senator Reid, and have publicly said many times, the American people do not see this as just a Republican problem or just a Democratic problem. They see it as yet another run-of-the-mill Washington scandal, and they expect it will generate just another round of partisan gamesmanship and posturing.

Senator Lieberman and I, and many other members of this body, hope to exceed the public's low expectations. We view this as an opportunity to bring transparency and accountability to the Congress, and, most importantly, to show the public that both parties will work together to address our failings.

As I noted, I initially believed you shared that goal. But I understand how important the opportunity to lead your party's effort to exploit this issue must seem to a freshman Senator, and I hold no hard feelings over your earlier disingenuousness. Again, I have been around long enough to appreciate that in politics the public interest isn't always a priority for every one of us.

Good luck to you, Senator.
Sincerely,
John McCain
United States Senate

February 6, 2006

The Honorable John McCain
United States Senate
241 Russell Senate Office Building
Washington, DC 20510

Dear John:

During my short time in the U.S. Senate, one of the aspects about this institution that I have come to value most is the collegiality and the willingness to put aside partisan differences to work on issues that help the American people. It was in this spirit that I approached you to work on ethics reform, and it was in this spirit that I agreed to attend your bipartisan meeting last week. I appreciated then - and still do appreciate - your willingness to reach out to me and several other Democrats.

For this reason, I am puzzled by your response to my recent letter. Last Wednesday morning, you called to invite me to your meeting that afternoon. I changed my schedule so I could attend the meeting. Afterwards, you thanked me several times for attending the meeting, and we left pledging to work together.

As you will recall, I told everyone present at the meeting that my caucus insisted that the consideration of any ethics reform proposal go through the regular committee process. You didn't indicate any opposition to this position at the time, and I wrote the letter to reiterate this point, as well as the fact that I thought S. 2180 should be the basis for a bipartisan solution.

I confess that I have no idea what has prompted your response. But let me assure you that I am not interested in typical partisan rhetoric or posturing. The fact that you have now questioned my sincerity and my desire to put aside politics for the public interest is regrettable but does not in any way diminish my deep respect for you nor my willingness to find a bipartisan solution to this problem.

Sincerely,
Barack Obama
United States Senator

The Obama and Odinga Plan: From the inseparable to the insufferable

EXCLUSIVE!

By Rev. Lainie Dowell

There is a plan under foot for the future of Kenya, Africa, and for America, as articulated by U.S. Sen. Barack Hussein Obama (D-IL) and his Kenyan cousin, Raila Odinga (both pictured above).

Funny thing, though, how those two men seem to think just alike. And, If I didn't know any better myself, I could almost swear it was one and the same plan. In fact, I would almost swear to it. In fact, I believe I will swear to it.

If not for the fact that one plan is intended for America and the other is intended for Kenya and, possibly, all of Africa, we could almost forget that it was a plan forged to inculcate the Socialist agenda into the next administration unless our country wises up and stops being politically correct.

Let us delve into the two plans to see. Come along

Pay close attention and I'd even recommend that you would each get a copy of each plan for yourself and place them side by side for your own review. This is just an overview.

What follows is a comparison of Odinga's "A Bridge to the Kenyan Dream" (2007) to Obama's "Blueprint for Change: Obama's Plan for America." (2008)

They both start out with opening statements.

Odinga -- speaks about the "(Kenyan) Dream" and states, "We are at a crossroads." He says, "I am that bridge that links the historic moments of our past to the golden tomorrows of our future. I am the link to our forefathers' visionary path towards the Kenyan Dream. . . Make the right decision and let us, together, finally realize that dream for our (Kenyan) nation.

Obama -- speaks about the "Dream slowly slipping away." He states further, "This is a defining moment in our history. . . . I run for the Presidency because that's the party America needs us to be right now. I run to offer this country change that we can believe in. I am in this race to tell the corporate lobbyists that their days of setting the agenda in Washington are over. So thank you for taking the time to read this booklet, which lays out very clearly how I will achieve these goals for the American people."

Odinga -- "We are on the side of the future, and the ODM-K (i.e., his Orange Party), is the only agent of change and hope. But we cannot be agents for change if we believe in 'business as usual' and if we are afraid of making tough decisions and choices that will drive Kenya forward, so that it emerges as a modern, democratic and developed country. If we know it has been done elsewhere, why can't we do it here? We cannot wait for the beautiful ones to be born after we die. We are the beautiful ones."

Obama-- His stated platform is one of "change and hope." In a speech he gave during the Presidential Primary, he said, "We are the ones that we've been waiting for."

Odinga on Poverty -- "The wealth of a nation lies in the skills of its people and their ability to work together. . . I give you a cast-iron guarantee that I will be a champion of social justice and social emancipation -- a champion for the poor, the dispossessed and the disadvantaged in the land."

Obama on Poverty -- "Obama will help low-income Americans enter the workplace and move up the career ladder. . . . Create a Green Jobs Corps - Obama will create a program to directly engage disadvantaged youth in energy efficient opportunities to strengthen their communities, while also providing them with practical skills in this important high-growth career field . . . Fully Fund the Community Development Block Grant programs and engage urban leaders across the country to increase resources to the highest-need Americans." (Obama Plan, pp. 40-43).

Odinga on Leadership -- "President Kibaki (Kenya), in the guise of serving all Kenyans, not just those who helped to get him elected, began to discharge his duties in an imperial manner. He consulted selectively and cynically dispensed with consensus. . . . restore trust in politics by discharging my duties through consultation and inclusiveness." (Odinga Plan, p. 8).

Obama on Leadership -- "Secrecy Dominates Government Actions -- The Bush administration (American) has ignored public disclosure and has invoked a legal tool known as the 'State Secrets' privilege more than any other previous administration to get cases thrown out of civil court. . . . Wasteful Spending Out of Control -- the current administration (American) has abused its power by handing out contracts without competition to its politically connected friends and supporters. These abuses cost taxpayers billions of dollars each year."

Odinga's Plan -- Here he sets out a Parliamentary System, "which would dilute presidential powers - a system that would include the post of Prime Minister." Odinga further contends that "A new constitution means national harmony from effective power sharing and accountability."

[Would Obama have the temerity to propose such a plan to the American people while he is seeking the Office of President? Every American needs to read that portion of Odinga's plan because, if Obama considered implementing this, then it is what would make the U.S. Constitution to be of no effect and make the President a figurehead of national government with the Prime Minister in charge of crucial decision-making powers granted by the intact U.S. Constitution. At which point, we could be fairly certain that Obama would appoint himself as the new Prime Minister. Good-bye U.S. Constitution? Obama remains silent on this prospect. )

Odinga on Community Power -- "Accept diversity as a valid and desirable fact of life. . . reform the system of local government to empower communities. . . . I want to engage our people in active citizenship involving them directly in the management of their neighborhoods and the services they use. . . . enable the transfer of power to communities with strong democratic and accountable local government. . . . restructure and entrench the Community Development Fund (Kenyan) by raising budgetary allocation and ensuring transparency and accountability in its administration."

Odinga on the Private Sector -- "I will ensure the establishment of a Citizen's Charter, which will state the guaranteed standards of the services that public officials must offer all Kenyans. Such services will include those involving of business licences (sic), national ID cards, voting cards and passports. The Charter will detail the procedures for individuals who need to allege complaints against public officials who fail to meet these standards." (Odinga Plan, p. 22).

[Would Obama dare to propose such a bold plan for Americans during his attempt to become U.S. President? ]

Obama on the Private Sector -- "Ask All Americans to Work Together to Meet our Common Challenges -- Obama will expand AmeriCorps to 250,000 slots and double the Peace Corps and dedicate these positions to addressing America's common challenges. he also will provide new service opportunities for working Americans and retirees." (Obama Plan, pp. 44-49).

[Obama's plan goes on to outline Mandatory service of Americans from the ages of youth to senior citizens and college students. Obama further sets a goal towards Socialism and Globalism, which would give the U.N. a wider reach into the affairs of the United States of America under an Obama or Democrat administration.]

Odinga on Women -- "Women remain disadvantaged socially, culturally and economically. . . . revise all oppressive practices, statutes and customary laws that perpetuate gender discrimination . . . . ensure the availability of police and other legal officers as well as health and social service providers, who are specially trained to handle women who are victims of domestic or sexual violence." (Odinga Plan, p. 20).

Obama on Women -- "We need to change a system that is stacked against women. . . . Ending Violence Against Women - Obama will appoint a special advisor who will report to him regularly on issues related to violence against women. Obama will also pass legislation that provides job security to victims of domestic violence and sexual assaults." (Obama Plan, pp. 35-37).

Odinga on Education -- "I will provide training for more teachers for primary and secondary schools: improve teachers condition of service. . . . Quality and affordable education remains a must for all our children." (Odinga Plan p. 17)

Obama on Education -- "I will improve our schools by recruiting well-qualified teachers in every classroom in America. Obama will improve teacher compensation by rewarding expert, accomplished teachers for taking on challenging assignments and helping teachers succeed. . . . Affordable, High-Quality Child Care - Obama will also provide affordable and high-quality child care to ease the burden of working families." (Obama Plan, pp. 20-23).

Odinga on Health -- "Health provision is grossly underfunded and delivering universal health care is an urgent priority. . . . abolish cost-sharing, as it denies the poor and disadvantaged access to healthcare; introduce a national social health insurance scheme. . . . Increase government spending in the health sector." (Odinga Plan, p. 18).

Obama on Health -- Universal Coverage -- Obama will sign a universal health care plan into law by the end of his first term in office. His plan will provide affordable, quality health care coverage for every American." (quoted: Barack Obama, Speech in Iowa City, IA, May 29, 2007). . . . Obama's Plan to Cover Uninsured -- Obama will make available a new national health plan so all Americans, including the self-employed and small businesses, can buy affordable health coverage that is similar to the plan available to members of Congress." (Obama Plan, pp. 6-9).

What is Obama's "National Health Exchange" noted in his plan on p. 9? Universal Healthcare.

Odinga on Environment -- "We face huge environmental challenges. Deforestation, water resources, depletion, threats to biodiversity and fisheries resources, human habitat degradation, pollution and climate changes are all priority issues that must be addressed." (Odinga Plan, p. 19).

Obama on Environment -- "Confront Deforestation and Promote Carbon Sequestration: Obama will develop domestic incentives that reward forest owners, farmers, and ranchers when they plant trees, restore grasslands, or undertake farming practices that capture carbon dioxide from the atmosphere." (Obama Plan, pp. 24-27).

That's why I'm running, Democrats - to keep the American Dream alive for those who still hunger for opportunity, who still thirst for equality.

-Barack Obama, Speech in Des Moines, IA, November 10, 2007 (quoted Obama Plan, p. 40).

The conclusion to the formidable account of the comparison

The American people have yet to realize the completely overwhelming hold over this nation that the Democratic Party has achieved over the past 20 years. And, in the interim, even though the Republican Party had the majority more times than they -- there can be none but those who stepped back and watched it happen who are to blame for the downhill climb of this nation's vastly revered standing in the world.

Those voices that have sounded the alarm went unheeded and now here we are confronted with the foundation of our society being overtaken by all that is - and would continue to be - enough to utterly tear down the infrastructure from within our very walls.

The time is past to wake from the dream from Dr. Martin Luther King. It is time to awake to dream no more but to understand how much the dream has become a reality.

If, in the awakening, we are at the twilight stage, then we will sleepwalk on.

If, however, Americans begin to awaken and have eyes wide opened and seeing what is ahead of us, then we would surely avoid the pitfalls as a nation and begin to take action to put the repairs in place which will keep us from all falling through the cracks. And, as of this moment, we are hardpressed to find Obama as the cement which would seal us as "One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

Its Called Politics As Usual

By Rev. Lainie Dowell

In response to Rev. Harry R. Jackson's commentary (no relation to Rev. Jesse Jackson), CR Daily, July 14, 2008, "Jesse Jackson: Denied, Dethroned and Dishonored."

It is called politics and church politics is the cruelest cut of them all, because we don't expect it to come from there. I understand that preachers can talk about colleagues, but at least what we say about each other or anybody else ought to be true. I don't cite the black church and the white church, I cite the Christian church and we're all in this together (red, white, black, and yellow -- there are no purple and green people).

Rev. Harry Jackson, I believe, "Thou doth protest too much," with such descriptors you have attributed to Rev. Jesse Jackson such as, "opportunistic, jealous, petty, black policy advocate." And, I am absolutely certain that sometime during your days as a preacher you have heard much worse terms which have "been an amazement (to you)" than the word, "castrate," which Rev. Jesse did not even use. And, it is certainly true in this case that, as you have observed, "Politics make strange bedfellows."

McCain-Kennedy-Obama-Ageism

McCAIN, KENNEDY, OBAMA AND THE AGEISM QUESTION

This Article Was Also Reprinted In New Media Journal

Rev. Lainie Dowell

When the breaking news came across the airwaves on Saturday, telling us that the “liberal lion” from Massachusetts, Sen. Ted Kennedy, had been stricken and hospitalized, it was the last thing anyone anticipated.

Despite his 76 years, white hair, unbalanced gait, ongoing yo-yo weight, and his family’s life and problems being fair game for all to know about, Kennedy had appeared to be getting along very well.

But let’s not forget that Kennedy has been a leading advocate for the liberal far-left agenda of high taxes, gay marriage, abortion-on-demand, and no warfare to defend our country for the past 45 years.

In Obama years, that is a lifetime! Kennedy has been fighting for the issues he believes in for the same amount of time Obama has been alive. For both young and old people, another person's youthful ideologies and promises sound exciting, because they evoke, for them, their own unrealized youthful hopes, promises, and idealistic dreams of becoming a change-agent but which seems to have eluded them and all but died without fulfillment.

But is that mindset really true?

I have found that people too often take life for granted. An elderly church sister put it this way: "You might dress yourself in the morning but when evening comes you don't know who will be undressing you." A whole lot can happen unexpectedly to change your life between daybreak and nightfall regardless of your age.

Age has its benefits. When you are young, age doesn’t move fast enough. But the older you become, the better you are able to appreciate every second of your life and the wisdom that comes with age. Godly wisdom never dies.

We live in a time when Americans are getting older and living longer. However, instead of being grateful for the experience and hard-earned wisdom older Americans have acquired, many of the young people in our country have not embraced the candidates of experience and age but the empty – and dangerous – platitudes of a presidential candidate like Obama who has not enough life experience, no viable legislative track record and no coherent plan to articulate for further enhancing either our domestic or foreign policies.

Our youth and young adults, instead of being grateful for the examples older people offer, cannot wait to put them away – even their own mothers and fathers! Just put them out of my sight, they seem to say. They are cramping my style. Tuck them away in nursing homes where -- in too many cases -- their "mysterious" black eyes, bruised shoulders, and broken limbs suddenly appear and are explained away by their trustworthy caretakers.

Congressional leaders and their families, on the other hand, have the clout, money, and support to "age gracefully", because of their affordable government health benefit packages and readily available access to excellent healthcare.

As quiet as it is kept, Kennedy's illness has allowed us to now become more aware that he is already much older than Sen. John McCain. Both of them have served honorably together in the U.S. Senate, albeit on different sides of the aisle. However, we have yet to hear the drumbeat of either the news media or the Democrats calling for Kennedy to give up his Senate seat, as they do of McCain to get him out of the 2008 election Presidential race.

Apparently, the Dems and media have made the decision to allow that choice to remain with Kennedy and his family to make. If the naysayers demonstrate such little respect for McCain's age and experience to allow him the same courtesy for his life's ambitions, then how do they think they can sound credible when they shout their commitment to make life better for the nation's elderly, but continue to disregard and discount their voices in the public square?

The media and Democrats have queried McCain about his age and health ad nauseum; and, to his credit, he has responded with a sense of humor. However those questions persist. Why doesn't McCain respond to that age-old question in a way which will decisively put that "old age" question to rest.

How about considering the following statement for the response?

"Today, when we are faced with international warfare, schools failing our children, an elderly population that needs more than health care, leadership approval of murdering infants from the womb, eroding traditional family values; and, given his startling lack of experience, doesn't it appear that Sen. Barack Obama is too young to be President of the United States?"

After all, if it is just a question of McCain's old age and experience vs. Obama's youthful excitement and inexperience -- don't you know that you don’t have to be sick to die and you don't have to be well to live?

Next question?

Obama - Rev. Jeremiah Wright Letter

Reprint of Rev. Jeremiah Wright's Letter to Barack Obama in Feb. 2008.

(I posted this originally on my "Silent Thunder's Heart On Fire" site. See Archives Thurs., March 20, 2008)

Subject: Reply to NY Times article by Jeremiah Wright
Date: Sun, 24 Feb 2008 03:35:48 +0000

Dear Jodi:

Thank you for engaging in one of the biggest misrepresentations of the truth I have ever seen in sixty-five years.

You sat and shared with me for two hours. You told me you were doing a "Spiritual Biography" of Senator Barack Obama. For two hours, I shared with you how I thought he was the most principled individual in public service that I have ever met.

For two hours, I talked with you about how idealistic he was. For two hours I shared with you what a genuine human being he was. I told you how incredible he was as a man who was an African American in public service, and as a man who refused to announce his candidacy for President until Carol Moseley Braun indicated one way or the other whether or not she was going to run. I told you what a dreamer he was. I told you how idealistic he was.

We talked about how refreshing it would be for someone who knew about Islam to be in the Oval Office.

Your own question to me was, Didn't I think it would be incredible to have somebody in the Oval Office who not only knew about Muslims, but had living and breathing Muslims in his own family?

I told you how important it would be to have a man who not only knew the difference between Shiites and Sunnis prior to 9/11/01 in the Oval Office, but also how important it would be to have a man who knew what Sufism was; a man who understood that there were different branches of Judaism; a man who knew the difference between Hasidic Jews, Orthodox Jews, Conservative Jews and Reformed Jews; and a man who was a devout Christian, but who did not prejudge other s because they believed something other than what he believed.

I talked about how rare it was to meet a man whose Christianity was not just "in word only."

I talked about Barack being a person who lived his faith and did not argue his faith. I talked about Barack as a person who did not draw doctrinal lines in the sand nor consign other people to hell if they did not believe what he believed.

Out of a two-hour conversation with you about Barack's spiritual journey and my protesting to you that I had not shaped him nor formed him, that I had not mentored him or made him the man he was, even though I would love to take that credit, you did not print any of that. When I told you, using one of your own Jewish stories from the Hebrew Bible as to how God asked Moses, "What is that in your hand?," that Barack was like that when I met him.

Barack had it "in his hand." Barack had in his grasp a uniqueness in terms of his spiritual development t hat one is hard put to find in the 21st century, and you did not print that.

As I was just starting to say a moment ago, Jodi, out of two hours of conversation I spent approximately five to seven minutes on...

... Barack's taking advice from one of his trusted campaign people and deeming it unwise to make me the media spotlight on the day of his announcing his candidacy for the Presidency and what do you print?

You and your editor proceeded to present to the general public a snippet, a printed "sound byte" and a titillating and tantalizing article about his disinviting me to the Invocation on the day of his announcing his candidacy.

I have never been exposed to that kind of duplicitous behavior before, and I want to write you publicly to let you know that I do not approve of it and will not be party to any further smearing of the name, the reputation, the integrity or the character of perhaps this nation's first (and maybe even only) honest candidate offering himself for public service as the person to occupy the Oval Office.

Your editor is a sensationalist. For you to even mention that makes me doubt your credibility, and I am looking forward to see how you are going to butcher what else I had to say concerning Senator Obama's "Spiritual Biography."

Our Conference Minister, the Reverend Jane Fisler Hoffman, a white woman who belongs to a Black church that Hannity of "Hannity and Colmes" is trying to trash, set the record straight for you in terms of who I am and in terms of who we are as the church to which Barack has belonged for over twenty years.

The president of our denomination, the Reverend John Thomas, has offered to try to help you clarify in your confused head what Trinity Church is even though you spent the entire weekend with us setting me up to interview me for what turned out to be a smear of the Senator; and yet The New York Times continues to roll on making the truth what it wants to be the truth.

I do not remember reading in your article that Barack had apologized for listening to that bad information and bad advice. Did I miss it? Or did your editor cut it out? Either way, you do not have to worry about hearing anything else from me for you to edit or "spin" because you are more interested in journalism than in truth.

Forgive me for having a momentary lapse. I forgot that The New York Times was leading the bandwagon in trumpeting why it is we should have gone into an illegal war. The New York Times became George Bush and the Republican Party's national "blog." The New York Times played a role in the outing of Valerie Plame. I do not know why I thought The New York Times had actually repented and was going to exhibit a different kind of behavior. Maybe it was my faith in the Jewish Holy Day of Roshashana. Maybe it was my being caught up in the euphoria of the Season of Lent; but whatever it is or was, I was sadly mistaken. There is no repentance on the part of The New York Times.

There is no integrity when it comes to The Times. You should do well with that paper, Jodi. You looked me straight in my face and told me a lie!

Sincerely and respectfully yours,
Reverend Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr.,
Senior Pastor
Trinity United Church of Christ

Obama Critics Have It Right!

Reprint

By Rev. Lainie Dowell

(I posted this originally on my "Silent Thunder's Heart On Fire" site. See Archives Mon., Feb. 18, 2008.)

Do not disparage, because you are not alone. A lot of people are expressing their discontent about the news media lovefest with Obama. My prayer is that the heart of Americans will catch up with the mind of the media to overcome their attempts to crown Obama as King of America by (their) divine right.

If people think we have seen trouble before - wait until trouble really comes to the door via the White House turned Black (or feminine).

Obama says he will link hands with Iran and Syria and terrorist nations. Hillary says she will rollback the advances made by President Bush and that she will give up much of the authority of the Office. What??? McCain won't be much better. In the interest of patriotism, security, and the general welfare of this nation, we'd better thank God for President Bush and pray that Gov. Mike Huckabee will continue to pursue the Office. We know he exhibits genuine respect for the Office and reverence for God.

I cannot stand to look at Obama much less hear him. Can you say, "Jim Jones?" I agree with all the others whose comments have given us a look beyond Obama's facade. Christians wake up! Americans unite to return this nation to God. The candidates who run from that necessity need to keep running out of this country.

Stay on the wall. God bless America!

Obama's Not All He's Cracked Up To Be

Reprint

By Rev. Lainie Dowell

(I posted this originally on my "Silent Thunder's Heart On Fire" site. See that archives Mon., Feb. 18, 2008.)

Can you say, "Jim Jones?" Obama frightens me. He's too slick! Sound familiar? What is it about the Christian community that they would accept from an all-talk, no-action newcomer who has no tangible record of worth everything that is anathema to our faith in the Lord Jesus? How is it they reject the Preacher, Mike Huckabee, and don't want him to express his faith in the Lord, while they run over themselves to heap glory and praise upon Obama? It was really frightening when I heard one tv news pundit announce, "Obama has more money than God." Imagine!

Democrats believe their choice is about race and gender/race (i.e., a black man or a white woman). And they choose to take form over substance. Obama has yet to account for his missing "record." He scoffs at the idea that he needs, as he laughingly says, "seasoning." The truth is, he does! This is not a game or beauty pageant. It is about this nation and our God, which makes people clamor to get here and to stay.

It's great that we have come this far through the blood and trials of so many on the frontlines of "CHANGE," but we do not have to take anybody for the highest position in America based on sentimentality and racial pride. If we had racial pride and gender identification, it should spur us on to seek the very best and accept nothing less. And that goes for the GOP candidates, also.

McCain has told us that "there is no perfect candidate." But we'd better be very sure that candidate is striving by God's hand to become as close to perfection as is possible in the eyes of God (and man, too). We were proved right about Romney and we will be proved right about the remaining candidates, too.

My prayer is that Americans will wake up before it is too late and that all Christians will come together in the true knowledge of our Lord to prayerfully consider how our nation will be able to recover the true meanings of Godly values, morality, mores, principles, and common courtesy and respect. And, return to worship God alone.
