Special Thanks to Dr. Frank (pro-life list), for forwarding the news email about our dear friend, Dan Zanoza. Yes, the Zanoza's are my friends, also; and I enter for the record, all of my heartfelt thanks for being blessed to have known him.
IN REMEMBRANCE -- MATTHEW CHAPTER 5: vv. 1-20
All those whose lives were touched by Dan still continue in prayer for both Dan and his lovely wife and companion, Julie. We know that his special strong voice and gentle spirit will be greatly missed. As well, we also know how hard both he and his Julie worked together to be a great witness for God's love and His will for mankind "On earth as it is in heaven."
We have no reason to doubt, because Dan was not ashamed to let us know his faith in the true and living God even living daily with some degree of pain. Now, all the Saints above hear the Lord welcome Dan through the Gates of Heaven with the words that Dan would most desire to hear, which is to say ---
Revelation Chapter 14: vv. 12-13
verse 12 "Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the Commandments of God and the faith of Jesus."
verse 13 "Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, "Write: 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.' " "Yes," says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them."
We Serve the True and Living God Whose Love and Mercy Endures Both Now and to All Generations Til The Trump Blows From Out of Zion
No matter how much the politicos, news pundits, academia, and onlookers debate among themselves about the events going on in our world or about whether there is to be a separation of church and state, it remains true that without their recognition that God is truly real and alive and that He does speak, then all of their vain disputations will only result in chaos.
But Dan and Julie have peace, because they loved one another, the people, and the Lord Jesus. They worked together and prayed together and stayed together to bring unity and harmony among people. Furthermore, they are a testament that there can never be a time we will separate church and state, for we carry our church in whatever state we find ourselves. And it was for this cause that Dr. Laurie Roth and I prayed together fervently the prayer of agreement on their behalf when we recently received the news about Dan's grave prognosis.
There will always be naysayers who, no doubt, would ask, what good does your praying do? Nevertheless, we know that our God is faithful and that it is in His will we pray that it is done and that our will be done away with. During one personal communique I engaged in with Dan and Julie in July 2010, he wrote me the following --

* Not now

My family and I thank Julie for sharing Dan with us. Further, we extend our condolences and love to Julie for her loss, and we continue to pray God's peace all in her spirit.
Dan and Julie are a people of faith. And, as for Dan Zanoza -- God's got him now! Welcome Home Faithful Servant! Good night, dear friend. We will not forget you and, God willing, we will see you in the morningtime on the other side of the River over there in glory, where there is no more sickness, no more pain, no more fears, no more doctors, no more nurses, no more tears, no more need for the sun to shine, because all the brightest of Light emanates from the Throne Room of God!
Finally, in parting, I prayerfully remind you to be good to yourself and to one another. What's more, always stay true to whatever God has called you to do and do not compromise the faith in God that has brought us through many storms of life. For our God is the only One who has the very last sayso over every say, because we do not get through praying. We pray it through into the very Throne of God in Jesus' name! Amen.
Moreover, all those who continue to doubt and scoff about whether this is true will surely find out that HELL has written their name(s) on the furnace door. Fear them not, for theirs remains to discourage the walk of faith but we of faith who believe remain to encourage. Say on.

I received the news about Dan via the following email, reprinted below,

Dear Friends:
Just got a phone call from Julie. Dan passed away on Thursday, January 6th – about 10:30 a.m.
Dan Zanoza was pro-life and the founder and president of Republicans for a Fair Media (RFFM). He felt that the best thing he ever did in his life was to organize an effort to put a Nativity Scene in the Springfield, Illinois Capitol Rotunda building.
The website, http://www.rffm.org/ says, "The Springfield Nativity Scene is the only such display to stand in any state capitol building in any state across the entire United States."
He will be cremated. A memorial service will be planned in the future. Details will be forwarded. Sympathy Cards can be mailed to: 904 – 21st St. # 71 – Lincoln, IL 62656-1087. Please no phone calls right now.
May the Lord welcome Dan to His Loving Arms and Eternal Reward.
