FREE SPEECH IS ON THE MOVE AND PLAGIARISM IS TOO!
(Now ask me something else you don't want me to tell the truth about.)
Rev. Lainie Dowell
I have been actively participating on the "Net" since 1996. At one time I had created and installed over 100 of my own personal websites before the Domain Name System (DNS) came about. Unfortunately, many of my sites were scrubbed when Geo-Yahoo! closed down all of those GeoCities free sites during the Fall of 2009, and I have not yet placed them back online elsewhere. However, I intend to relocate many of my sites back online in the near future.
Many fellow "netizens" just might remember the most any subscribers had to worry about during those years was with the troublesome online people called, "flamers." They "flamed" anybody just for back-and-forth nuisance value (their own). And, as if that was not bad enough, every once in a while we would even see our online words coming back at us under somebody else's name or simply designated as "Anonymous" or "Unknown."
Furthermore, I am glad I was in the Net loop (so to speak) during those early days, because I can now claim being among the very first hundreds who had signed on to one of the initial proposals to create and set up internet "Domain Names," as borne out by this linked Net Policy document. It shows Laura Bush is listed at No. 12. I am listed at No. 157. And, now, to date I have purchased and acquired more than 270 personal domain names online. So you see, I am not a novice or what was once called, "a newbie." I have been online constantly and without any break since 1996, having founded the first online national and international support network-resource for Christian Clergywomen in 1998. Hence, my long-time, online identities of "clergywomen" and "clergywoman," among others.
That Dreaded Word No Author Wants to Hear -- "Plagiarist"
Funny thing about plagiarism, it is much easier to detect than it is to prove beyond "he said, she said." After all, we live among a global community where more than one person just might unknowingly express the same thought as another. What's more, they might even have the same way of expressing that particular thought as does another person. At the same time writers, in general, are quick to shy away from ever having to use the linked terms, " plagiarism and Copyright Infringement."* Most people have a problem trying to spell "plagiarism," but they certainly hate the thought of having to be confronted with either such an accusation made against them or else having to make such a charge against another. For so many who write, the cost to litigate the matter would be prohibitive for them and the potential loss of reputation demands very careful consideration before potentially going forth with any action.
Barack Obama (D-IL)- now seated in the White House Oval Office, and his close friend, Deval Patrick (D-MA)- Governor, were not the first and only ones to recognize that "words have meaning." While making no claim to their words, whatsoever, I, for one, am in total agreement with that particular sentiment they voiced. Likewise, there are a whole lot of people online who just plain love words so much they can almost taste them and they take great pains to jealously guard them, because they are birthed from a very deep place within and they do not come forth without struggle; especially, when talking about the Holy Word most of all.
Any Such Untenable situation Must Be Addressed As to Its Veracity or Falsity
At this point in my experience with this issue, I dare to even state that perhaps it is time to call for all documents Obama may have worked on during his touted stint as president of the Harvard Law Review. In the same vein, it might be helpful to also review Governor Patrick's papers he submitted during his higher education sojourn. Some practices are just too hard to give up -- that being one of them.
For the most part, I believe people have taken to loving this (relatively) new form of communication tool, the internet, because it allows their creativity to flow freely in all directions. And this mechanism also affords people the opportunity to make full use of their constitutional right to free speech without having to fear their being shut down. Well, at least that's how it was way back then.
Currently, we almost never know about how long we will be enjoying use of the internet. Did you know that the United States government is now contemplating a proposal to "transfer of responsibility for administration and operation of the Domain Name Service (DNS) to a suitably internationally constituted independent body?" That means Americans might no longer enjoy the sole standing of having any say over what happens about our personal and business use of the internet. We already have a hard enough time trying to seek redress when any problems arise concerning our DNS, not to mention our daily interactions and conflicts with one another both online and offline, too.
Plagiarism is not a Dirty Word, But It Denotes a Dirty Deed, If Proved True
However, what must we do about plagiarism?! Should we keep quiet and pray that our gnawing feeling goes away? Or should we speak up and watch our friendships fade away into the background from fear of association with us for "causing trouble?" Whatever the choice, this issue constitutes a very serious problem; and, in most cases, it is one which can result in serious consequences, if such allegations are proved to be either true or false. Long after his death, the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was accused of being a plagiarist. As well, our current Vice President Joe Biden, has been accused of the same thing. Apparently, those particular accusations proved to be true. But because of their vast notoriety and financial gains, they were summarily excused with a light tap on their wrists and reputations.
When the monied and degreed -- no matter who they may be -- could possibly become parties because of any questionable issues in this regard, they have the luxury of either remaining silent or else turning around and accusing their accusers. After all, who would notice if they just slinked off in a corner and shut their mouths? On my part, since there is a definite need to know, I am making my queries public, because it appears that no response will be forthcoming. But I hope other writers will take careful note about what can happen to them (if it hasn't already).
Students and even college professors are being accused of plagiarism so often that the internet now provides software tools which enable teachers (and others) to go online and quickly diagnose such troubling accusations.
"The Blueprint: Obama's Plan to Subvert the Constitution and Build an Imperial Presidency"
I have recently made several queries concerning the recent publication entitled, "The Blueprint: Obama's Plan to Subvert the Constitution and Build an Imperial Presidency," by Ken Blackwell and Ken Klukowski. It was reportedly published on April 27, 2010. Their book description at Amazon.Com reads (in part): "Barack Obama's shocking plan to take over the government, the election, the economy, the American consciousness, and even our personal freedom."
Perhaps coming across any writing which has a similar thesis as another could be overlooked. Except that the content and the title and the terminology sprinkled throughout their text speak the exact words and terms which are contained within practically all of my articles, starting with the title and subtitle those authors used. And, if the authors in question had any of that information all along which they recently published, then I question why they would have withheld it from the public until now? What's more, quite a few of the terms don't sound like any that either of them would use in a conversation much less in a book.
I worked night and day conducting research which led me to that conclusion in 2008. I began writing articles to warn the public about Obama's ultimate objective for America and the world before Obama was even nominated, elected as President-elect, or sworn in as President of the United States. Much of my online public, copyrighted work, includes the premise now contained in the newly published book allegedly authored by those two noted professionals named above.
My One-way Communication to Obtain Crucial Answers (To Date)
What follows are copies of the communications I have initiated via phone calls and emails. I contend a careful reading to compare my documentation and their publication will show there is a need for an investigation. I welcome their responses and hope and pray the readers will know how to respond, if they are ever confronted with such a decision as mine. Say what you will. Think what you must. But since mid-2008, my website has been replete with my articles about Barack Obama in which I continued to outline that particular course of action by him. And it is and has remained my overall thesis. My written designations when compared to the subject book are too numerous to include in my complaining emails or this article. Nevertheless, they are on file and readily available for review. And, I might add, not one author who cares about their work would ever think about letting such an issue go by them without their response to it.
I demand an immediate comprehensive investigation and explanation based on a thorough review of all of their and my documentation surrounding this issue. And I will not rest until I get all of those answers along with substantiating documentation.

I have included (below) my recent phone contact with the Republican Party and the failed attempt to reach the Chairman, Michael Steele. To date I have had no response from my phone call to that office. My concerns about the recent publication by your company prompts me to contact you. This is in re: "The Blueprint: Obama's Plan to Subvert the Constitution and Build an Imperial Presidency," April 2010, by Ken Blackwell and Ken Klukowski.
Since 2008, I have published many articles in which I have outlined -- specifically -- Obama's Blueprint to do the exact thing your authors now tout in their book and published by your company. There is no other conclusion that can be drawn except they have taken much of their content from my own. The articles I have written have been seen on the internet worldwide via being published (by my permission) through Canada Free Press, African Press International, and formerly with both New Media Journal (.us), and RFFM.Org, as well as some being reproduced by others on their sites in which they reprinted my articles but without my permission.
Further, the Feedjit application on my site shows that visitors have come from not only the United States and Canada but from many countries around the world to my site to read my articles. The url is: http://www.voiceink.blogspot.com (see my Archives and the Feedjit map under their "menu" link).
Because the subject book has been publicized, I have compiled a separate extensive list of my article titles, dates, key words, since 2008, in order to substantiate my allegations.
I need to know at what point either one or both Kens may have arrived at their book title and supposition that Obama plans to "subvert the Constitution and build an imperial presidency." I have not only consistently written about that exact subject but also I have audio from radio interviews since 2008 in which I was a guest and discussed such issues before anybody else, until I recently saw your authors, Ken Blackwell and Ken Klukowski, on the Hannity Show, Fox Cable TV.
I also need to know how it is that so much of their terminology is the same as appears in my articles. I solicit your help to get those answers (to start). As I said, my collaborative documentation is extensive and thus this is a preliminary contact to include also, a request for a contact name and a copy of your company policies and procedures to pursue such a complaint, which I feel requires your utmost prompt attention. Thank you and I look forward to your response.

Coalitions Dept - RNC
Matt, since you are unable to give me their email addys, please cc the following:
Ms. Angela Sailor, RNC Coalitions Director
Mr. Michael Steele, RNC Head
Mr. Ken Blackwell and Mr. Ken Klukowski (co-authors of book in question)
For the sake of credibility, I solicit the help of RNC to help me to clarify this matter
Re: "The Blueprint: Obama's Plan to Subvert the Constitution and Build an Imperial Presidency" Co-authored by Ken Blackwell and Ken Klukowski, 2010 (I haven't seen this book yet, but I also saw their interview on "The Sean Hannity Show, Fox TV)
Followup to our telecon earlier today. When I phoned, I spoke with (1) your Press Office, (2) a female member of Mrs. Angela Sailor's Coalitions Office, and (3) to you, Matt, because of RNC hosting today of Ken Klukowski, via GOP Telephone Conference at 4 p.m. EST. Together with Ken Blackwell, they reportedly have written a book entitled, "The Blueprint: Obama's Plan to Subvert the Constitution and Build an Imperial Presidency."
I felt it necessary to alert your organization to the fact that I have written on that specific subject since 2008. I also have taped radio interviews in which I have also made the same assertions since that time. The question for me is, when did those authors come to their conclusion and assign their book title and content?
I also reiterate my request that you, Matt, make Mr. Michael Steele aware of this potential problem, since your organization is endorsing that book and he is the GOP head. And there may be potential grounds afoot for charges of plagiarism, surrounding that book. Yet, I have been unable to be put in touch with Mr. Steele.
Again, please copy him on this email.
As I said, I am herewith including links to some of the articles I have written in 2008, in which I contend Obama's ultimate goal is to "change America starting with the U.S. Constitution, even as unthinkable as that might sound to right-thinking Americans . . . ." September 14, 2008 "Critical Change and Crucial Decision"
"The evidence is overwhelming to support the premise that Obama is planning to overthrow our established form of government by continuing to amass coalitions of millions of organizations worldwide, volunteers, and dollars for their cause . . . . and he will be in the position to finally gut our constitutionally authorized military and to dismantle it and the democratic form of this Republic in order to reverse centuries of what has made this nation great at home and abroad."
